Isabel Nappa, LCSW
I'm Isabel Nappa (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University. My approach to healing is compassionate and collaborative, centered on the belief that true growth comes from reconnecting with the resilience, clarity, and inherent worth you already hold.
I’ve spent my career working in all sorts of environments—from private practice and schools to non-profits—which has given me a deep appreciation for the unique paths we all walk. Whether I’m working with individuals, and couples, my goal is always to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel truly seen.
I specialize in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, young adults, and couples. We might work together on things like anxiety, trauma, identity, or navigating the ups and downs of relationships. To help you get where you want to be, I draw from a "toolbox" of evidence-based methods like IFS (parts work), CBT, and the Gottman Method—all wrapped in a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach.
A little about me...
When I’m not in the therapist’s chair, I’m usually finding ways to stay grounded and inspired. Here’s what my "off-duty" life looks like:
I’m a proud pet parent to my dog, Rio, and my cat, Janet (they keep me on my toes!).
I love to read - my favorite genres are coming of age, fantasy, and memoir.
I’m a huge fan of Broadway shows—there’s nothing like the magic of live theater.
I love exploring new places and making memories traveling with my partner.
